Hello Friends. Welcome back to day 24. Today you’ll learn, how to use technology to achieve your fitness and lifestyle goal.
Modern Lifestyle and technology has given us a lot, but we always count what it took away. If you doubt technology, then it’s sure that you haven’t used them it in a right way.
With the falling cost of equipment, it’s getting easy to access. And with easy access, they are getting in hand of everyone. And it’s a good thing. But the problem people are facing is with wrong use.
Technology and machines are there to make our lives easy. But an unhealthy relation with such devices does the opposite and that to an extreme.
They can be your best partner for your health and fitness, which we will explore in upcoming video.
Smartphone and Application
The first thing in the list is a smartphone. With the spread of technology, smartphones are available widely.
We look at smartphones as the biggest hurdles in our modern lives. But the use of the equipment will decide the fate — whether it will cause a problem or save your precious time. Usually, benefits of major things are underestimated. And a smartphone is one.
Leaving those statement, lets explore how you can use it to stay on your health and fitness journey.
You can start with the smartphone you own.
Go to play store if you’re on android device.
Or App Store if you’re on iPhone.
Both platforms have a wide range of fitness application.
You can try any application to keep track of your fitness routine.
Try to look at an application that fits your need.
While today we will explore an application that help to track your daily activity.
One application I am using from long is Google Fit. It’s a great application that is free and serves the purpose. Daily I have a small target to walk even during a busy schedule. Every small active change will give you a compound effect in the coming time.
When you will set a small target to walk at least 5-6 km or walk 8000-10000 steps, you took the first step. You might feel tough to complete those targets.
Stay sure, you will feel tough first few weeks. As you keep up with the routine — your strength and stamina will improve. You won’t feel such activity as a burden. You enjoy the process. You’ll feel fresh and energetic.
It’s optional. But if you’re looking for exact data, then you can try the fitness band. There are lots of products that can help you stay on track.
You won’t need any expensive tracker. Buy any budget-friendly tracker. With a simple setup you’re ready to explore your fitness journey.
These devices will remind you to stay on track. In today’s busy life, we’re not able to make time. We usually forget to take time for self-care. And these devices will be your reminding partner — whether you have achieved or not.
Suppose you don’t achieve a target, there is no need of worry. Try next day to complete that day target. Don’t go hard on yourself.
Lifestyle, fitness, health — all these journeys aren’t there to make your life hard. It’s there to nurture you, so you live a better life. It’s there to provide you strength and energy, so you’re able to do whatever you want.
So don’t get obsessed with those stats. Keep making progress without being obsessed. Every small effort will lead to a healthier life.
You can have fun and enjoy everything, and still you won’t mess with your goal. That’s the topic for tomorrow.
