Benefits of Reading book

Why It’s Important To Read Books?

If you are curious about learning new things every day and consuming lots of information from blogs or a video, you shouldn’t miss the best source, a book.

A short article or a video consume the least time thus they are the fastest source to get information about anything.

In the upcoming article, I will go through the importance of reading so you can start with reading and begin the process to bring long-term sustainable change in your life.

1. You Get a Chance to Learn From The Best In Their Field

Everyone has a story, their struggles, and their experiences.

We all live in a society that is similar to everyone. The problems other face and hurdles they overcame can be similar in your life.

Whatever we expect, many time things go out of our hand. We can’t control the situation but we can learn to handle them.

Crossing the hurdle like it wasn’t there is an art. Everything can be learned under a guidance of a mentor.

Books are the medium used by people from various field to convey their message, to prepare the readers to handle a situation with an ease.

You might plan to learn from the best so that you can make the same progress in your life like they have made and are still making. You might plan to learn with them so that you can gain the knowledge they possess and strategies to deal with anything.

But…

Every person has a limited time and even they do. As they aren’t able to reach millions personally, they pour their knowledge, experiences, and suggestion in a book.

Reading their book is equal to learning under their guidance.

Books become the best way to spread that knowledge as they can be converted in multiple formats and distributed without any barriers.

2. Books Are The Most Researched, Edited, and Polished Content

A book is the most polished content you can go through.

Before you receive any book; a book goes through multiple editing processes responsible for a perfect book and to reach that perfection it takes years of hard work.

A book starts with a problem in mind and every effort are made to give the best solution.

Few months of research, months of hard work on the first draft, another few months on the second, third, fourth draft till it reaches to the level of perfection where it’s not possible to make any changes.

After multiple drafts, a book goes through rigorous editing process which makes it a splendid art of work. Stuff which doesn’t stand the promise is removed to bake the perfect product.

With lots of hard work done on a book; a blog post can’t hold the same importance that of a book. A blog takes a few days of work while a book needs years of hard work.

A blog is great but the importance of a book can be neglected.

3. You Can Expand Knowledge At A Cost of Few Penny

A book is written by the experts in their respective field, it’s a vast amount of knowledge at a cost of few penny which cost more while receiving direct guidance. You can gain knowledge without the barrier of location, time and money.

All the best knowledge is accessible at a cost of a penny. A penny can be spent by the end of the day on fun stuff, but a small investment on a book will change your life.

A penny has potential to make you a better person, then why to miss those opportunities.

Consider every penny invested in a book as the best investment made and appreciate yourself for that decision.
