But before that, I like to provide you with enough ideas to make your lifestyle better and ways to fill with fun activities. For that purpose, I included one of the best activity — trekking. Or simply say connecting with nature.
Humans have wandered for a long time in search of food and shelter.
But in the past few decades, the wandering habit vanished because of formation of civilisation and convenience. Today everything is at tip of our finger. No effort is required to get anything. So, we all stopped wandering or at least connecting with nature. The nature that helped us in survival.
Today we will see how you can get connected with nature.
Fitness routines have benefits — you know enough about the benefits, as we have discussed earlier. You will get similar benefit from an active lifestyle.
Looking at fitness routine and active lifestyle, I planned to cover one of my favourite topic — trekking or say travelling. It’s an best way to explore nature. You will get dual benefits – travelling as well as better health.
If you haven’t been to trekking but planning to go, then you will get more reason to go on trekking.
1. You Will Spend Active Whole Day Without Feeling Bored
Lifting weight in gym can be boring task if you have to do it again and again.
Many time it’s boring to go to gym. Or go for a walk in city’s crowd. If you want to take a break that won’t bore you, then you should try trekking.
Unlike walking in cities that might be filled with traffic, pollution or rush — you will get a blissful feeling in nature. It will breath new life in you with fresh air and greenery.
Your connection with nature will once again get stronger. But the most important one, you will walk more than your daily target without feeling bored.
2. Improve Mental Health
Spending time in nature can benefit you physically, as well as, mentally. It’s found that spending time in nature can help to fight mental problems including anxiety and depression.
In this busy modern lifestyle, we are mentally over-active. We have a list of to-do list, lots to achieve and many concerns. With such repetitive thoughts, it get tough to spend quality life. But walking in nature can calm down the active brain region, prefrontal cortex.
Calming nature sounds and even outdoor silence can lower the level of stress hormone cortisol, which calm down the body’s fight-or-flight response.
The actual reason is not known for such benefits, but it is estimated that greenery has a calming effect.
Let it be greenery, clean air, or anything else — you just need to explore new place.
3. Can Enjoy With Outside Group, Friends or Families.
And the last one.
You don’t have to do it alone. It’s the best way way to spend quality time with friends and families. Also you will come across many people.
There are lots of benefits with endless possibilities. You will explore new people, new place, different faces of nature and the most important, experience. You will create best memory of you life while travelling.
Modern day lifestyle have kept us busy. We keep running towards deadline. In this process, we often suffocate as we aren’t able to truly connect with oneself. And to get connected with true self you have first detach for a while.
So schedule time for yourself. Get out to get connected with nature and experience the best moment of your life.
