Nutrition or Fitness…
Which one should be given higher priority?
It’s a simple question, but it’s most confusing topic.
To make it less confusing, we will look at every possible scenario. So let’s get started with exploring one of the confusing questions.
You might have heard people saying…
Diet — is about 80 percent
While, Fitness or Exercise — is about 20 percent
It’s a rough estimation because no one can say the exact value. You might get the question, as diet has always been blamed as the root of weight gain and other health problems.
While fitness routine are the one helping to burn excess fat, build lean and stronger body. With such condition why nutrition is the best option.
If you’re considering any single option, then first remind yourself. To achieve and maintain any fitness or health related goals you need both — nutrition and fitness routine.
Without both you can’t consider your lifestyle as a complete or healthy lifestyle. Changing one side will do good, but to get a maximum result, you need to take care of both.
Still, among both — you need to take more care of nutrition. Care means — I don’t mean that you have to put more effort. It’s about that most result are influenced by proper nutrition. To get the complete idea, let’s begin.
Looking At Nutrition
Nutrition is the most important thing. But when I’m talking about nutrition or diet — I don’t promote common dietary strategies used these days.
Today I’ll just talk about nutrition. You will know more about diet tomorrow. Till then stick to the nutrition.
Food is an important topic as its only source of nutrients. Better the nutrition plan better the result.
Fat burn, muscle growth, better energy and more changes are possible with focus on nutrition.
It’s said that nutrition contributes 70-80 percent result, still it’s considered the root cause of problem. As one considers it problem, the solution one comes are skip meal, cut calorie to extreme and other unhealthy practices
A right approach will boost result while disturbing it will make goal impossible.
Looking at what careless eating can do to your effort spent on your exercise routine and active lifestyle…
If you see no remarkable changes in weight even after following fitness routine and active lifestyle then you might be missing to take care of your nutrition.
Fitness routine and an active lifestyle are the best way to burn fat and lose weight quickly but, they won’t be helpful if you don’t take care of nutrition.
The problem is excess calorie consumption.
If you’re eat more calorie than you require, the excess will be stored as fat.
Suppose you spent 30 minutes in brisk walking. You will burn 100 to 300 calories. It looks as a great achievement.
But suppose you drank sugar loaded drink that contains 100- 300 calories. All your 30 minutes effort will be ruined within a second.
The same case applies to other high-calorie foods.
Calories are not the problem but it’s the excess consumption. With better food choice, you won’t exceed calorie intake. As you end the process of calorie deposit — the result gets visible.
